Did you figure it out? Blogger.com sucks for profile pictures, because it doesn't let you choose a file on your computer and upload it. You have to have the URL of a photo already online - either using a Flickr.com, photobucket.com or other photo hosting website, or adding it to a blog post and then using that URL. Let me know if you need further help.
